Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group has recently learned that UniCare is exiting the commercial insurance market in Illinois. Although our knowledge relating to their departure is limited, we would like to provide you with as much guidance as we can to ensure your medical care continues uninterrupted.

Because the relationship with UniCare is held directly with your Employer, Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group is unable to answer any questions regarding changes to your health insurance carrier or benefit coverage. We encourage you to contact your Human Resources Department or Benefits Administrator to address these questions. You may also contact UniCare at the number located on your plan identification card.

Once you have been provided with information on your new health plan carrier, please visit our website at www.nmpg.com to view our accepted insurance list. If we do not participate with your new carrier, please work directly with your Human Resources Department for any transition of care needs you may have.
