Sexual Health

The Center for Integrative Medicine and Wellness sexual health program provides comprehensive services to address sexual dysfunction for men and women. Male and female specialists provide confidential, compassionate, proven and practical guidance and work in collaboration with your healthcare team to help you regain health and healing with regards to sex and intimacy.

To respond to this growing need, Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group Center for Integrative Medicine and Wellness provides comprehensive services to address sexual dysfunction for men and women. Evaluation and consultation are provide by specially trained and experienced male and female Advanced Practice Nurses in collaboration with the patient's healthcare team to provide confidential, compassionate, evidenced-based and practical guidance to facilitate patients towards health and healing with sexual and intimacy issues.

Services include:

    • Comprehensive evaluation and management of sexual health problems
    • Education on normal physiology of the reproductive system
    • Education on the causes of for sexual dysfunction
    • Education on how to use specific treatment options (e.g. intra-cavernosal injections or vacuum therapy)
    • Expertise in Male Sexual/Intimacy Issues:
      • Desire disorder
      • Erectile dysfunction (ED)
      • Orgasmic disorders - premature, rapid or delayed ejaculation disorders
      • Peyronies Disease and other abnormalities of the penis
